Macha & Bedhead

A eulogy to a band and a millennium, the year 2000’s collaborative Macha Loved Bed- head has been remastered from the original analog tapes and finally makes its way to the mother format. Recorded long distance by Wichita Falls-born brothers Matt and Bubba Kadane and Josh and Mischo McKay, this five-song, 34-minute EP combines gamelan, slowcore, and a cover of Cher’s “Believe” pecked out on a touch tone phone into a seamless meditation on life at the end of the American century.
