Ruth Mascelli of Special Interest and Mary Hanson Scott present their third album for Disciples, a multi-dimensional journey through noir atmospheres, torch songs and ambient haze. Following Non-Stop Healing Frequency, the record drifts deeper into liminal space, blending haunted ballads with textural interludes.

Highlights include the yearning sweep of ‘Haunted Hearts’, a slow-motion reworking of hi-NRG classic ‘Self Control’, and the fractured trip-hop of ‘A Lover’s Theory of Value’. Scott’s FX-drenched reeds both anchor and dissolve around Mascelli’s vocals, tying the sequence into a seamless whole.

With echoes of earlier works like A Night At The Baths, and guest appearances from Jae Matthews (Boy Harsher) and Maria Elena (Special Interest), this is a richly atmospheric and emotionally charged collaboration.
