Sourced from same sessions that went into the compilation ‘World According to (Eindhoven 1983-1985’)’, this tidy 7” also shares its instrumental B-side of slide guitar blues, ’Summer and the Empty Playground’ with the ‘Thin Blue Notes’ LP of 1985, whereas the A-side’s approximation of Angela Conway gone country ‘Les Enfants’ was plucked from behind the ear of W.A.T. by Stroom magician Ziggy and one Brecht Van Dingenen. Paired like mayo and frites, its a gorgeous one-two missive of blue-minded, wide-skied longing and romance primed for an always too short summer on the horizon.
