MC Solaar – Qui Sème Le Vent Récolte Le Tempo (Universal/Polydor)
A reissue of French rapper MC Solaar’s 1991 debut album, ‘Qui Sème Le Vent Récolte Le Tempo’, Solaar’s smooth tones and flows deliver a laidback vibe, whether you understand French or not. \n \nThe warm productions also still shine, thanks to the kind of smart funk and disco sampling that would pop up again a few years later in the French Touch house sound. It’s not surprising then that Boom Bass, aka Hubert Blanc-Francard, who later went on to be one half of Le Funk Mob and Cassius, wrote some of the songs, while the sadly departed Philippe Zdar, the other half of both those acts, recorded and mixed the album. \n \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KWgIszyqdE&ab_channel=MCSolaarVEVO \n \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mfo9Suw4XU&ab_channel=MCSolaarVEVO \n \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_OZuEwqpbo&ab_channel=MCSolaarVEVO
