Da Nutz – Old Time Religion (White label)

Da Nutz – Old Time Religion (White label)

An alias of Russell Fehlau, aka DJ Lynx, whose Discogs page links him to underground hardcore/breaks/garage labels from Goldseal and Point Blank to Harry Lime and V.I.P., Da Nutz’s 2002 ‘Old Time Religion’ comes with a nagging hook that was also used on ‘Can’t Wait’ from Statin Storm’s 1990 debut.  \n \nSet across two versions, Mix 1 is a two-step warper that lets the bass do the talking after the drop, accompanied by a dubby vocal repeating the title’s refrain. Mix 2 switches the vibe to speed garage, but the dark, heads down energy keeps on rolling. \n \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQoKifZhRmE&ab_channel=Dietysrecords \n \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_9fSNm1Aho&ab_channel=Dietysrecords
