D.J. Deeon – Chop Shop (Chiwax)

The recent passing of D.J. Deeon drew warm tributes from across the electronic music spectrum, which shows how ubiquitous his appeal was. This reissue of a ‘96 EP originally released on Dance Mania highlights his Chicago sound. Side A comes with the booty tracks, Deeon’s vocal and various samples spicing up the rolling toms and bouncing jack.
