Cameroon musician Francis Bebey was many things in his lifetime: a classical guitarist, a singer in three languages, a journalist, a novelist, even a civil servant. From the mid-70s onwards he was also an electronic music pioneer, experimenting with a new generation of instruments and recording techniques to which he also brought a pop sensibility.
