For several years on Reunion Island, the Kréol Art association has been perpetuating the tradition of local picnics during a quarterly event, welcoming a multi-generational crowd around a group of artists.

With mats and coolers in hand, parents and kids, gramouns and friends of all kinds settle down in a friendly atmosphere in a “Kréol guinguette” atmosphere around old Volkswagen kombis, to dance and celebrate Reunion music!

This selection of songs perfectly captures the festive and friendly side of the Kombis PicNic evenings and salutes the spirit of camaraderie that animates each of the groups in this selection. From rock to sega, it highlights all the diversity of local music.
